You may choose to explore the Otago Peninsula, visit the famous Larnach Castle, the wildlife reserves of Penguin Place or Natures Wonders. There is also the Royal Albatross colony at the very tip of the peninsula.
You could head north along the coast to the Moeraki Boulders or inland towards the historic goldfields area.
Discuss the options with your own private guide and they will make sure you have a great day.

What can we do on the tour?
As you are just booking the vehicle and a driver/guide, you can do exactly what you want [within reason] and your guide will discuss the options with you. You pay for any destinations and activities you want to do on the day. We do recommend that you arrange and activities where there is limited availability in advance, either direct with the destination or with us in advance.
Why is the cost the same for a 4 hour tour as a 8 hour tour?
The price is the same as we have to commit a vehicle and driver to you for the whole day, regardless of how long you want to tour for. We find that clients who say they just want a 4 hour often then want to extend the trip as they are having so much fun. There is a lot to see in and around Dunedin and a full day will allow you to do things without a rush. Off course if you do just want a shorter tour then we will take you back to the ship as requested at any time.
